How it Works
1. Tell us what you have
Send us some information about your collection, ideally including the games, approximate quantity, condition and a few photographs.
2. We assess the collection
We’ll review what you have and discuss whether an outright purchase or consignment would be the most suitable option.
3. We catalogue and sell
For consignment collections, we sort, identify, catalogue, price and list suitable cards through our established sales channels.
4. You get paid
As your cards sell, we keep you updated and make payments in line with the arrangement agreed at the start.

What types of card collections do you accept?
Our main interest is in discontinued and out-of-print collectible card games. We consider collections of all sizes, although particularly large, unusual or higher-value collections are generally best suited to our service.
How does the consignment commission work?
Our commission is based on the net sale proceeds of each item, after marketplace and payment selling fees have been deducted [see table]

How long will it take to sell my collection?
That varies considerably. Popular games can sell quickly, while more obscure CCG material may take considerably longer to find the right buyer.
Our aim is to achieve a sensible return rather than simply liquidating everything as quickly as possible.
How often will I be paid?
Payments are generally paid monthly, with monthly sales being calculated and payments issued during the first week of the following month. Alternative payment arrangements can be agreed on request.
Who decides the selling prices?
Retrograde Arcade normally handles pricing so that we can respond to current demand, card condition and market activity.
If you have particularly valuable cards or minimum prices you would like us to consider, please mention these when discussing the collection with us.
Can I ask for unsold cards back?
Any minimum consignment period and arrangements for returning unsold stock will be agreed before we accept your collection.
What happens to low-value cards?
Large collections often contain a large number of common cards, where the individual value is too low to justify listing them separately.
Depending on the game and quantity involved, these may be grouped into sets, bundles, playsets or bulk lots to give them the best chance of selling efficiently.
